Baby was born after ITA

Friends,

I had a baby after receiving an ITA. Can I go ahead and complete the paperwork for ITA just for my Wife and Myself without modifying my application(my wife is the primary applicant) . I intend to include my baby as dependent only after I get my PR.

Does adding my child as my dependent after my PR was processed a valid scenario ? please advise. Appreciate your expert opinions.

When did you get ITA, and when do you plan on submitting your application? You need your baby's birth certificate, passport, medicals and Proof of funds in order to include them in your application. If you think you can arrange these documents within the deadline to submit your eAPR, you should include your baby now in your application.

If it will take you more time to gather all these documents for your baby, you can submit your eAPR with a LOE explaining about the birth of your baby and the delay in gathering all the documents. Once you get all the required documents, you can raise a CSE and submit them. Your baby will be added to your application.

I got my ITA on Aug 9th. I will not be able to get my baby's records before the deadline.

Also my Baby was born Premature and I will not be able to get medical exam done before the deadline.

I had the same situation. Baby born in July, application submitted in August. I explained in LOE the situation and that I will add the baby after I have all his docs ready. About a month after submission I got ADR to add the baby to my application. They gave me 30 days to do so. So I had nearly two months to sort out his docs.
