WES has assessed my wife's Masters degree in Science (Biotech) from HP University(India) as PG Diploma - 1 year, and B.Ss (HPU) as Canadian 4 year graduate degree. Have seen in other posts that it happens generally, However, My wife has also completed her M. Phil (Biotechnology) from HPY, but I didnot get it assessed (since HPU is charging INR 5000 for each degree and already paid 10000 for two transcripts) .
Has anyone got M.Phil assessed from WES Canada? Want to know if it makes to WES assessment as MAsters in Canada ? Would go for M. Phil assessment only if it makes it to MAsters in Canada equivalent, else no use I think. Appreciate your inputs here.

That depends on how much of a difference 7 points will make to your crs. With her current ECA (I'm guessing she's the applicant) she will get 119, if u get her masters her education gets bumped to 126. Calculate your entire crs and then determine whether it's worth getting the eca for masters

Thanks for responding...She wont be the primary applicant , I would be the one applying as a candidate with a spouse for PR -- my score comes out to be close to 435-440 on CRS Calculator...I was asking about my wife's degrees from two angles :
1. Apart from score increase (because , she's secondary applicant --only 2-3 points i guess), is there any benefit of going for her additional Degree evaluation now?
2. Does WES evaluation help in getting a job once you land in Canada post obtaining PR ?
