police clearance after PR invitation under FSW

hello,

I see that I need police clearance for any country I have lived more than 6 months which is USA and India in my case.
1. I had already obtained clearance after fingerprinting for place where I teach voluntarily and clearance is issued by US state's department of education and says record from FBI criminal history background check with date of aug. 2017. can this be used as police clearance for this Canada PR application or it has to be another one directly issued by FBI by applying to the country specific link only?

2. As for police clearance of India on NY India consulate website they seem to have no info on procedure to apply for it

in general how to apply page I see we need to send original passport, but I doubt and if need to post original passport to Indian consulate just for police clearance or it is for renewal and other stuff...

Please help with your experience or knowledge...

You'll need a PCC issued directly by FBI. Follow the guide on CIC website

You can do fingerprinting on your own. Just buy some ink and 258 card and you are good to go. Look up some videos on your to see how fingerprints are done

oh thanks! is this how it really works..you just take your own and mail it? what's the authenticity in this I mean? one can just submit someone else thank you info. though

Well, once you came to US, your fingerprints were already taken by the customs. So I am assuming that will match it with the ones you will send them. Send them your passport copy and visa information as well to make your there is no problem.

thanks! fd-258 card instructions at back says one needs to provide all required fields-originating agency identifier no. so I'm not what if must be if it's for Canada immigration. in reason we put canada visa or just personal review is fine?
