Please I would like to know if CIC sends acknowledgement of receipt (not AOR) immediately they received the paper application from courier services. As dhl final shipment status reads "Delivery arranged, no further details expected"
I am expecting "...delivered and signed by".
I will appreciate quick response please. Thanks All.

This is how your tracking ends with Dhl (as far as i know). Try to link your account on Gckey after a few days to be sure everything is fine

DHL doesn't deliver directly to cio office in nova scotia they always make use of another agent. Try and call dhl or go to there office they will gi e you another tracking number, which u will use in tracking your document.

I would have given you the name of the agent but can't remember.

Thank you very much for this, I have just called dhl customer service and said same thing as yours. I have also been given another waybill to track, in which confirmed delivered and signed by Locke. I hope this name is familiar to cic?

How to link your paper application online

(1) Go to the link below:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/mycic.asp
(2) Click on continue to Gckey to create your account
(3) If You've already created an account, login with your Username and Password otherwise Click on Sign up to go on next page and create your username, password and security questions.
(4) After creating my CIC account, click link application to this account.
(5) Then select category as Permanent residence and Provincial Nominee.
(6) Then select Family name, given name and date of birth option.
(7) Fill your family name(surname), given name and date of birth as per Passport or Application form.
(8.) Next in applicant personal info panel fill Passport information only
(9) Next search for your application.
(10) Your application will be found and can be linked.
(11) You can get real time updates on your paper application online
