BOWP - How many of you have applied and received it successfully?

I'm currently on implied status, applied for my second BOWP extension two months ago. But now I got my PPR and sent my passport to Ottawa. My question is what happens to my BOWP application once my PR visa is issued?

I'm not planning to land right away as I have to travel in early December and my PR card will not arrive in time. My question is, will my BOWP be approved with PR visa issued but no landing?

I saw some cases in this forum that some people still got an approved BOWP after they got PPR first.

I live in BC, nominated under BCPNP international graduate. 600 points added to my Express entry profile. PR application submitted on June 18, 2017 AOR received sameday

Application Status:
Review of eligibility:We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
I passed the medical exam.(unable to tell exact date)
Background check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

I received a request to pay RPRF on september 22, 2017 which I paid on the same day.
My BOWP was approved on October 27 2017.

1.I want to know what stage I am at. Can anyone help?
2. With all things being equal, can I assume that getting BWOP is a positive sign?
3. when should I expect PPR?

I applied for my BOWP on Sept 3, got approved Nov 10. CEC inland. My first PR application under which I applied for BOWP got denied. However, reapplied and updated my BOWP with new AOR. Patiently waiting for PR.

I am curious though. Does getting your BOWP mean you'll get PR?

Hey! Thought I'd provide my update.

My AOR was September 17 (CEC), applied for BOWP on September 22 and got my BOWP on November 20. I was on implied status from October 18 until November 20. Relieved! Now to get PR.

Hello everyone ,
My wife's work permit extension / BOWP approved as on 06-02-2018 and her old VISA and post graduation work permit was expired as on 30-03-2018.

She is planning to apply for her new VISA in this week or next week, she is waiting to get employment letter from her employer.

Is there any problem now as per immigration law and rules like she is staying there after visa expired. Her BOWP work permit is valid up to 05-02-2019.
