Has anyone experienced putting two residential addresses? I moved for work (temporary address) but i still consider my other place as my primary address. I am planning to write for the duration of both addresses from xxx to present. Is it okay or it will be an issue? thanks

You have to provide the address where you lived
Even if you moved for work, that means you were residing at a place other than your permanent address and for that duration you should mention that address
Over lapping duration will create confusion and may lead to more scrutiny at time to interview or decision making
My two cents are to keep it simple and state the facts straight forward

Yep...
In our application, I wrote my address separately from my family (for that period of time) as I was on another address at that time (for work). Family's address in their application was different (where they were at that time). Off course if you do so (write separately) the address will match your job history/location as well.

So you can write yours and they can write there. And if space allows just pen in a short description, like, "moved for work" or something like that, if you must.

Hello Guys,

I understand that if you are on a vacation for example for 1 month you do not need to provide a non-Canadian address. However, last year, I went to the U.S for about 5 months in just one trip. During the timescale, I was in a couple of cities for leisure, visiting my family, doing some clinical observership ( not a paid work, just as a volunteer) and attending job interviews all over the US. Thus I did not have a permanent address. Since my absence was not a just one month trip, I am a little bit concerned whether I have to provide my non-Canadian addresses ( which include even a few hotels) during this 5 month period. Thank you for your helpful answers

I also had 5 temporary addresses while in Canada searching for a new apartment. I wonder if I need to list them all.

I think your home address should remain the same. However in your travel details you should write each trip/stay and mention the reason. There is quiet a bit of space in the calculator to provide some info. Further you can attach a brief explanation letter along with e-calculator, to let them know what was going on.

I will write them all down, with brief info. Like "Temporary residence/ searching for apartment or house"
