good one ...better to clarifyIt is not lengthy waiting as such, but I want to finish things off as quick as possible.
Another correction, I am a HE and not a SHE.

I am from Kolkata, but moved to Bangalore a couple of years back. Now getting ready to move to Toronto next yearyes yes gender equality..very true gender does not make any difference to our friendship..
Gurpreet I am from Mumbai...where are you from?
The nominations are faster but post AOR they are stuck whereas direct ITA's are being cleared in a span of just 15 to 25 daysyes you are right earlier it used to take longer but as of recent times they have accelerated the process especially under the HCP category and usually to receive ONIP nomination is 2 months+/- and yes you are right again the regular ITA will make it close to 6 months. The other category for masters does take longer as per my knowledge.

You don't have 2 degrees. You have one degree and one diploma. That will amounts to the bachelors degree as per Canada standard.Hi guys, general question here.
I got my credentials evalusated at WES. I evaluation came different from my expectations.
After online research I found out that other evaluation firms like IQAS are evaluating better or differently.
I have a 3 year degree from Delhi University and a 1 year distance PGDM from IMT Ghaziabad.
All I got from WES was a equivalent of a Canadaian bachelors.
Do you think it would be worth it to get it re evaluated at say IQAS and maybe hope to get the ‘2 degrees or more’ as a evaluation from them.
Thanks
Don't feel sad... I am sailing in the same boat and still very hopeful.Hi lovey people of ROH,

you can go for upfront medical exam no one will ask for ITA letter. I went for upfront medical and no one asked for ITA letter. Thanks for your prompt reply. Isn't an ITA actually necessary to undergo medicals? I recall reading/hearing somewhere that the hospital/physicians ask for this piece of letter- I could be incorrect after all too !
FYI-I'm also in the same boat effective 22 Sep barring receipt of the IELTS TRF to update the EE profile.
Exactly my thoughts.Despite the reduction in the numbers of ITAs the score is still stuck in 430s....that shows even if they increase the number of ITa, which they will in order to increase 2018 quota, score will significantly drop.I have seen lots of people assuming that the scores will stick to 430s-440s. And some of them also believe that scores went down after november 2016 changes and its not going down after june 2017 changes.
I just want to say that the difference is not because of june 2017 changes its just because that firstly after changes they done only 1 draw in june and 1 in july.
That means only 2 draws in full 2 months so score is bound to increase and as soon as they did 2 back to back draws in august the score went down from 440s to 433 and now even with 1000 less ITAs on avg the score is stuck at this range and is also not increasing
So suppose if they had been doing 3500-3700 ITAs draw after every 2 weeks the score would have been in 420-425 range and if they had done back to back draws which are key in putting scores down to a range the score would have been at 405-410.
Because the point to be noted is that even reducing 1000 ITAs per draw the score is stuck and its not increasing so the bigger draws will only lower the scores from here.
And I feel as they did last yr after quota got announced they suddenly increased the number of ITAs from november they will do this year also.
Because the minister has said that the 2017 targets are benchmark for future targets and the target will not get lower it will only increase from here. So that clearly means that even if they dont increase the targets for 2018 they will not decrease it.
And to fill up there quota they have to do 3500-3800 ITAs per draw and few back to back draws again as they did in 2017 because lesser number of ITAs wont fill up there target of 2018.
So I think after announcement of quota the number of ITAs will increase and now the scores are stuck that is a good sign because after increase in ITAs the scores will only decrease like before so it will be good if decrease starts from 435-440 rather than shooting up to 450-460 and decrease from there.
Thank you so much for the encouraging words )))Hi guys,
Over the weekend I was reflecting on my Canadian journey so far and realized I have already gone through so much without realising it.
Although this process is long and draining, the one thing I love about it is that there are many moments of mini victory. So many battle that you need to win, IELTS, ECA, PNP, ITA, PCCs, POF, Reference letters etc. It teaches us that for one to win a war they must win many battles. It won’t happen overnight, you may lose a few times, but ultimate success is always reserved for those who persevere. This is a principle we can apply well beyond this journey. In fact, for the rest of our lives.
All the best guys.
Why do you respect women more than men? Thats not gender equalityYes I am a male and your gender doesn’t make any difference to our friendship in this forum. Rather I always respect women more than men. Btw which part of India are you from?
