Seniors please advice: PA has not received any email ever from CIC or LVO, do you think that this is normal? Checked that they have got the email also right in medical request form. Suggestions please.

Hi yes my husband (PA) never received any email from them. But in our case, they had misspelled his email ID. We found that out when we got his medical request. So check if that's the issue.

Email is correct as per medical form. Now what??

Hello all. My husband (the applicant) did not receive any email from CIC but in his profile it says updated (The background check field is changed to "We are processing your background check..." ... but the important thing is on ECAS, under Permanent Residence Application Status is says Decision Made (even though when I click on it, nothing's changed after the Medical Exam). Anyone experiencing the same changes?

(We are a June 16 applicant.)

Decision made, is now on ecas. This week it changed from In process to DM. Medical passed. 3rd line was added in the beginning of September. I supposed passport request should be after? Please advice. Thanks.

That's right, main applicant from Turkey. Does that make difference from timeline perspective?

There shouldn't be any negative, I was assured by our lawyer. And it seems that some people are getting trv.

So, I guess it's not transferred yet. Usually, files are transferred after sponsorship approval & ECAS change to In Process. Sometimes the Local VO are busy & files are transferred to Ottawa. Sometimes they don't update online. If u r worried give CIC a call to get the current status. Not sure if they answer to your concerns or wait another month & order notes.

we have sent in our request with the correct e-mail ID and my husband (PA) still hasn't received any single email. So i'm sure it's normal (hopefully). Even we were scared of missing out on any important emails but I have received all the emails so far.

My guess is that it's because we had submitted the "authority to release information" form with the application to let me allow to communicate with the office regarding application. All we can do right now is hope that this is all okay. You never know with who is dealing with our application. It probably depends on the immigration officer, too.

Your husband will receive a request for passport soon. Look out for that.
May I know if your husband ever received any emails from the immigration? My husband (PA) never received a single email from the office so just wondering.
