After medical how much time they taken for Background checking start

My medicals were passed on 14 June 2017.
Background check start: 10 Aug 2017
Decision Made: 11 Aug 2017

PPR: 11 Sep 2017 (1 month after DM).

Today as per my group I am in, more than 11 people received (may be more in different group out of my knowledge may have received PPR) their PPR.

However Decision made was on next day of BG start which was Aug 11, 2017.

Not possible. In my case too, it was just 1 day but it is mandatory step.
