Fee Timelines

Hi everyone,

As per my understanding, the total fee for the primary applicant in express entry is 1040 CDN, Processing fee $550 and right of permanent residence fee $490.

Can someone break down the timeline, as to when both payments should be made? Do I need to pay anything at the time of submitting my profile, before getting an invitation?

You do not have to pay anything to create a profile.

You must paid the processing fee when submitting your eAPR after receiving your ITA - you can also pay the RPRF at that time.

Otherwise once you submit your eAPR the RPRF will be requested during the processing of your application.
