Congrats......
follow this instruction below I also had trouble linking my application but then I saw a post by barnalve with this instruction.

Use PA's Account
Permanent Resident --> Family Class (Spouses)
Choose = Family Name, Given Name, Birth Date
Enter PA's Family Name, Given Name, Birth Date (I copy pasted Family and Given Names from the application file - not sure if that made any difference)
DO NOT put anything for city and country of birth (leave it BLANK)
Enter accurate Passport Information as it is on you application (I copy pasted the Passport Number - not sure if that made any difference)
Enter Province and City where PA intends to live (Enter as it is in your application)
Marital Status = Married
# of applicants = 2 (PA + Sponsor)

Hopefully, it will work...

August 2nd applicant, still waiting for AOR... this is the fourth time I've submitted my application (it has been returned three times). First time was a mistake on my part, second and third time were CIC mistakes in sending back. If I don't get AOR this time I may just hurl myself off a cliff. Every day I don't get that email I just want to cry. :(

WELL i exceeded my limits for today . any idea on ecas ?
ecas is generally more accurate and up to date.

Linking the account is not mandatory. Additionally, you do not have to do it within the 7 days. You can do it at anytime throughout the process, so don't panic.

I'm PR in Toronto and wife is in the Philippines
Checklist says you have to provide a copy of PR card-both sides, so I don't think you can go ahead without PR card. You can call CIC and confirm.

Thanks, but I provided both sides of my PR card. I think you meant to reply to someone else :)

Dear friends,
question regarding Schedule A - Background Declaration.
1. As an sponsor do I also have to submit one copy of Schedule A form, or it's just one copy from my spouse??
2. What is Schedule A - Online?
3. I downloaded the latest version received from AOR > filled it up > Typed name in place of the signature field > Validated it > Now planning to upload this same document online via my CIC account. Did I do it right or does my spouse have to sign it manually??
4. Will there be any barcode page for Schedule A when I validated it?

Kind regards

What were the CIC mistakes? Can you share here with us why your applications were returned?
