Need your advice

GCMS notes show
Agent review A11.2 "having analysed the application based on the document submitted and ................ information contained in the application A11.2 decision: Met 75(2) FSW MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Appears Met 76(1)(a) SELECTION CRITERIA - FSW POINTS - Appears Met FSW points total- 71 CRS points at ITA:421 CRS minimum score for round:415 Current CRS Score: 389* NOTE: CRS score dropped because of change of education of PA. PA claimed TWO OR MORE POST - SECONDARY PROGRAM CREDENTIAL WITH AT LEAST ONE OF THEM BEING OF THREE YEARS OR LONGER while education was BACHELORS DEGREE (4 years)

Actually i have done BSc and Msc. WES has evaluated my BSc as bachelors degree 3 years equalant to Canadian but MSc as bachelors degree 4 years which is in conjunction with my BSc degree. So the final evaluation is Bachelors degree 4 years. But in last November cic had made an update in education section, ie one can choose two post secondary programs if one of the is a 3 years degree. So I chose two programs.

GCMS shows Eligibility: review required and Application is still in progress. What should I do now? Should I raise a CSE and explain all this.
Please advice

ooh i see, because after submitting the application they recalculate your score and they give different one if anything add or changed in your application

Please how do you think one can explain reason for NOC change that will be acceptable....

Also will submitting bank documents ( ref letter and statements) 2 weeks after issuance date be a problem?
You don't have to explain NOC change.

Hello @legalfalcon

Thanks for helping me out yesterday. I really appreciate it. I kept reading my GCMS notes thoroughly. I have a few questions more, it really would be helpful if you can help me in decoding them.

1) Application section

Application 1:
Field Name: Other Reqs
Action:Updated
Old Value :
New Value: Not Started
Updated Date: 23rd Aug, 2017
Updated by : HF****
Office: CPC-Ottawa

Application 2:
Field Name: Eligibility
Action:Updated
Old Value : Not Started
New Value: Recommend Passed
Updated Date: June 6th, 2017
Updated by : JS****
Office: CPC-Ottawa

there are many like this about criminality, medicals and office change .. all say passed . I have mentioned Application 1 and 2 because they are latest. So, my question is, by just looking at the things above, can we guess at stage my application is ?

For the stage, see page 2 of your notes. See https://www.getgcms.com/blog/express-entry-application-processed/

On 23rd Aug I got ghost update( which is a good thing according to many people ), on the same day the officer updated that application section, but I couldnt decode what he meant by that ??.,.

2) There is an ACTIVITY section as well after application section..

Activity 1:
UCI : my number
Name: Last, First
Sub-Activity/Activity Type : Verification
Field Name: Status
New Value : Not Started
Updated Date: 23rd August, 2017
Updated by : H****
Office: CPC- Ottawa

Activity 1:
UCI : my number
Name: Last, First
Sub-Activity/Activity Type : Selection EE Econ
Field Name: Status
New Value : Recommend Passed
Updated Date: 7th of June, 2017
Updated by : JS****
Office: CPC-Ottawa

There are many activities as well down below, but about criminality passed , medicals passed in CIO office .. and the n moved to CPC-Ottawa as per loan balance for eligibility checks.

So, here my question is, what does Verification mean in sub activity type in Activity 1 ??
This could be your document verification for employment and eligibility. See the notes in the last few pages and match them with these activities as per date.

this was happened again on 23rd august, 2017 by the officer ( Ghost update day)

3) There is a section called OTHER REQS

H & C : 0
A39-A41 : 0
VERFICATION :
left blank here and on top of the page I see s.16(1)(c) .. Yesterday I asked you about s.16(1)(c) that is there near the notes section. Today, I observed it on OTHER REQS section as well like i mentioned above with other values. There is almost 1 page blank there. Does it mean same as notes section? anything important that I need to address to CIC ?

To read on s15/16 see https://www.getgcms.com/blog/s15-s16-top-right-gcms-denote/

Same with Associations section :
Applications and cases : 0
Organizations and entities : blank space with s.16(c)(1) on top ..

I'm not gonna worry about this if this is just like that one that you clarified yesterday ..

Just a quick recap of yesterday and little bit details o my profile as you see lot of posts and not easy to remember if I say "my yesterday's post"

I'm May 04th CEC inland application . BG: N/A for the last 3 months... Additonal docs no need change last week.
my GCMS notes day before yesterday
and the high level details down below :

Eligibility : Recommend Passed - eligibility happens in 2 stages, first a program analyst will review your file and make a recommendation. Then this recommendation will be reviewed by an agent and the status will change to passed.
Medicals: Passed
Criminality : Passed
Security : Not Started
Other Reqs: not Started

Hello legal falcon,
My eligibility was under review. Yesterday my employers and today I received call from officer. How much time do you think going to take from here.
If you received a call from an officer, they wanted to verify your employment. If they are satisfied they will update your GCMS notes accordingly. This is eligibility. You can expect 2-3 weeks for it to be finalized and then it will be reviewed for a final recommendation after which it will change. You should order GCMS notes as see what triggered this verification and if everything went well.

Hi Legalfalcon,

I submitted my passport to CPC - Ottawa thru canada post xpress post on 12-Sep. The tracker is not showing any delivery information and i am worried whether they delivered my passport to CPC or missed.

How i can ensure that my passport reached to CPC. I tried to call CIC but not able to connect. Is there any other way i can ask them whether they received my passport.

Thanks
Send an email at CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca and ask.

@legalfalcon
Please guide us with your experience-

My timeline is as following-
AOR- 6th Feb
Got married in April and informed CIC
My individual PPR- 25th May
CIC asked for spouse's documents- 6th June
Submitted all the docs- 11th June
My husband stayed in Japan for six years so it took us 2 months to obtain Japan PCC
Japan PCC Uploaded- 22nd August
Additional document requested only for my husband (Schedule A)- 30th August
Uploaded Schedule A - 31st August
The application status says- 'The additional document you provided is being reviewed'.

- By when should we expect our PPR?

Thanks
I cannot make a speculation, but it does not take much time as for your spouse no eligibility is required. Only the criminality, medicals and BGC is done.

Thank you for your response @legalfalcon
I know its really hard to speculate anything in such a case. But, honestly we are very curious. Should it take more than a month?
Thanks again :)

There are many factors. VO processing it, your spouses travel history etc. But should not be a long wait. Just order GCMS notes and see what is happening.

Okay. Thank you.
One more thing our passports are submitted with CPC Ottawa since early june.
Now whenever we get PPR mail. I assume that it is understood that we ll get our passports back along with visa stamping. Right?

Thank you so much @legalfalcon

I think it is OTHER REQS check then.. that is what the officer mentioned, but the status "not started". I assume it is started looking at the other activities. They create a new activity with new value : not started, and then next update old value : not started and new value: Passed

What checks usually happen in OTHER REQS??

You don't have to explain NOC change.
Ok.
Please help with this:
Is place is place of birth a big deal? I ask bcos place of birth on spouses passport is wrong and UK pcc has been issued with that info. So Should all entries that concerns place of birth on application be aligned with the info on passport and U.K. PCC or regardless this error, should the correct place of birth be filled out in the application? The last application that was refused had the correct place of birth filled out in the eapr form though diff from info on passport.
