Anyone with Successful Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) of SCDL

I sent my scdl docs to IQAS, 3days back. Will post if receive any response..

Dear Mithu,

Please tell the procedure to get the transcripts from SCDL for my PGDBA (awarded in 2009). ICAS had responded via email saying that if the college is approved by DEC in the first year of the academic year of the program, they will consider the same. I checked in SCDL website and they listed the papers issued by DEC which shows that their courses are approved since 1995 till 2017.

I'd checked with ICAS and their response wasn't satisfactory. I doubt they recognize SCDL diploma. Heartbreaking??

I later checked with IQAS and in their email response they confirmed that they will assess SCDL diploma. They sent one document also (can be downloaded from their website as well), and SCDL was listed. So, my most educated guess is that SCDL diploma is considered by IQAS and you should approach them for ECA.

SCDL TRANSCRIPTS?? Make a note of your registration number and call them. Their customer care number is given on SCDL website. If you want, please share your email I'd and I will forward their email response with complete instructions.

thanks for the note. Please share your experience on IQAS evaluation on SCDL PGDBA. i have PGDBA from SCDL awarded in 2009. Will IQAS evaluated evaluated it as canadian masters?.

Hi,
First is I don't think ICAS will evaluate diplomas from SCDL, as confirmed by many in other groups. And I did the research too.
Secondly, call up scdl Pune no. To know the Amount of DD to pay for every transcript or you can write to diploma@scdl.net.a form needs to be downloaded from their website for transcript.attach the form along with DD and send to Pune address.
My husband has got his Sikkim Manipal university degree evaluated from IQAS only as it was distance learning too.

Me too sent my docs In August 1st week and SCDL docs were received on 29th August. Still haven't received delivery confirmation of SCDL docs. They take too long.

SCDL Normally dispatches the transcripts within 20days of their receipt email. I received the transcripts on the 15th day on acceptance of letter.

I have done my bachelors from university of atlanta since it wasnt availible in wes therefore used iqas, after all the docs sent and everything got a reply as
Unfortunately we are unable to complete an assessment of your Bachelor’s degree because University of Atlanta does not meet the IQAS recognition criteria. Can anyone advice what can be done.. be informed iam already doinv masters from an indian university which will be completed by next year..

Hi all,

Today I have got my successful ECA assessment for my SCDL diploma from IQAS.
My docs were received by them on 02-08-2017 and they acknowledged regarding the receipt of docs on 31-08-2017.

Today I got email from IQAS that my ECA assessment has been completed and soft copy was attached. Hard copy will follow by courier.
I know lot of ppl were asking about SCDL assessment. So I am writing to let them know that IQAS assesses SCDL diploma.

Hi Rizwan..

If you are sure that university of Atlanta was recognized during the period of your degree, then write an email to IQAS about the same. Also include all the official university docs(which shows the recognition status etc.)(if available online) and also include links to them in your email. Just satisfy them about the same. I think that might work.
