Anyone with Successful Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) of SCDL

Everybody knows WES does not recognize SCDL. Same use to be the case for Manipal too but ICAS accepted Manipal so no harm in trying with different agencies

I don't know if this will help. After ITA, you need to upload all documents (including ECA reports and educational qualifications). At this time, CIC checks all your educational credentials. This is a fool proof process and WES is the biggest agency in the world doing education verifications every single day. I'm not sure if trying different agencies may help, also not sure if it's worth trying. If degree from SCDL, Manipal is the main degree for which you are planning to claim credits, you risk rejection later on.

Yes, they will take atleast 4 months to evaluate. My docs were placed for evaluation on July 12th, thus I can assume that I will get the results by Nov 12th. I will keep you guys posted. Hope for the best. In between if some one get the positive result from IQAS (As they are taking less time), you can send it to them.

A matter of fact we all are aware that the evaluation agencies (ICAS/ WES/ IQAS...) are approved by CIC and CIC does consider the evaluation done by these agencies. WES is not the only agency which is approved by CIC. They have listed 7 agencies from where one get the evaluation done. Please refer to below link--

So, where is the issue if ICAS or IQAS evaluates a degree and provide positive result???? All these agencies are acclaimed b y CIC then why CIC will reject their evaluation?? Please do not give false information to the folks on forum. I don't think any one will get rejected because their degree was evaluated by ICAS instead of WES!!!DUH

I'd checked with ICAS and their response wasn't satisfactory. I doubt they recognize SCDL diploma. Heartbreaking??

I later checked with IQAS and in their email response they confirmed that they will assess SCDL diploma. They sent one document also (can be downloaded from their website as well), and SCDL was listed. So, my most educated guess is that SCDL diploma is considered by IQAS and you should approach them for ECA.

SCDL TRANSCRIPTS?? Make a note of your registration number and call them. Their customer care number is given on SCDL website. If you want, please share your email I'd and I will forward their email response with complete instructions.

I too am waiting to hear from at least one person whose SCDL PGDBA was evaluated and considered as a 2 year diploma so we could claim points in CRS. Please help!

no body can about university or college being recognised by any instructions only for sikkim manipal university it is clearly mentioned on their website. institution not recognize. . however I would suggest you to try iqas they now take 45 days send your documents and c from there..

Sorry for replying back so late on my thread. I got my SCDL (PGDBA - Marketing) evaluated by WES in/around Jan 2017.

SUMMARY - Does SCDL is recognized by WES
ANSWER - NO.

So, please don't waste time and energy getting SCDL evaluated by WES.

mine is still hanging with ICAS as they will take 4 months, which will be Nov 4th:-(

Hi, I am trying to call them for last four days but no luck, waiting time is too long.
My packet was delivered to iqas on 11 Aug
They confirmed the receiving on 7 September.
I don't know how long it will take.
