after initial check R10 which is IP1 stage file is transferred for a case officer review. . this is the only stage which is critical in nature. . as after r10 case officer works more or less on the assumption of case analyst who intially checks your file ip1 so in short u r fine ... here we say no newsis good news. .

cheers buddy. My bgc has been in I progress ..will get in touch if anything require , for months. I assumed I was in SS as when I emailed them the said you're under additional verifications. Will be 6 months since AOR in a week.

my file was transferred to Ottawa office on 22nd Aug. Medical and criminality are cleared but security they are doing additional verification.

Ok cool. You got this information how? I emailed CIC ottawa and also called them few months back, they said file in ottawa with email reply saying "additional verifications" . So does this mean we are both under SS? Best of luck seem we are close!

I have heard nothing from this guys at cic. I'm over six weeks on IP2 .... this is pretty annoying

Hey I am with you. IP2 since Aug 1st, only difference is they have replied to my emails (sent twice - 30th July and 26th Aug).
They don't ignore emails, maybe your file is at CIO or London. Have you tried emailing London or CIO? I think the email address is different. Just a possibility.

Even I am clueless what's going on with our file. Its direct and no travel history or not complicated at all, they haven't mentioned additional verification too. Strange!

no im at Ottawa as per my first contact with them...but i asked for status the next time , they are yet to reply.

They don't reply for status emails. You need to ask for Visa Office details

Best is to wait....not in our hands anyways I guess:-(
