Hello,

I am quite new to "Express Entry" how things work around it. However, I am close to be ready to submit my Express entry application.

My question is, if my score is, say, 438, and next round threshold is 435 (just assume). Does it guarantee that I will be invited since my score is above the minimum score or it doesn't?

I am just wondering so I know what to anticipate.

Thanks in advance.

You say your close to ready to submit? If you submit even few mins before the cut-off you will be eligible to get an ITA if the draw is below 438. The safe option is to submit the EE and then make changes as you need. This is because you can never anticipate what time a draw could take place. It could happen anytime tomorrow (if there's a draw tomorrow)

What I mean about being close is I have got WES evaluation, however, I am still waiting for my Ielts results, which will be released next Friday. I am not sure how far I can get without the test info.

I think I will start my EE, but not sure how far I can go without the Ielts test.

I thought it was somewhat similar to the Australian "Express Of Interest" where I could start and save the application
Yeah but you won't be able to proceed. If you use the come to canada tool you will need your IELTS scores to prove you're eligible. Even if you do create an express entry profile with no IELTS what's the point? You won't be able to submit or do anything until your application is complete. So what I'm saying is go get your IELTS done and proceed.

I didn't mean to submit my EE without my Ielts, only to start it and fill in as much info as possible.

How long did it take you to create your profile? Is it straight forward?

Thanks for your response.

In term of NOC, do you choose only one NOC code or there will be option where you can choose a NOC code for each job? Because my current position is a Finance Manager but I can also be classified as Financial accountant. And the two jobs are coded differently.

You can as long as you have at least 1 year in your primary NOC

Sorry to ask this, but what do RPRF and IP2 stand for?
RPRF is a fee to pay and IP2 is the last stage of your background check usually the last phase before PPR. I suggest you head to the CIC website and do some intensive reading as to all the different stages you'll be going through to get a better idea as to what to expect down the line/
