Funds requirements

Hi
My husband is the primary applicant. We have submitted our express entry profile. Now waiting for ita. Now we are collecting funds. We need funds of around 8 lakhs.
Cab any body suggest me that we can show the funds in the name of both primary and secondary applicant. Can it be 4 lakh in primary's name and 4 lakh in secondary's name in the form of FDs.
Gift deeds from both side parents are also accepted?

yes (EDIT: Not sure about the FD part as we don't have such a thing locally as far as i know)

Following are the options you have
1) Primary applicant
OR
2) Dependent Applicant
OR
3) Both

BUT in last two options dependent applicant need to produce LOE (letter of explanation) in which he/she must write No objection in utilization of my funds for settlement of my spouse and children (if any).

Simplest format I got from this forum was
