Experience Letter Question

Hi guys !! so I am trying to show 1 year continuous experience. I dont have Experience Letter / Relieving letter from my employer but my colleague has his and he his willing to give me an affidavit saying he was my colleague there. So will that work ? if his dates over lap my dates, i will also provide his relieving/experience letter. Apart from that I have my hiring letter and appraisal letters. please let me know.

That's a last resort (add pay stubs and such) will he not give you a reference letter ?

I dont have paystubs.. this job was back in 2013 and no i cant get a reference letter.. company is closed

then get a notarized letter from your former colleague along with everything that can justify it (colleague's old business card if he has it, yours if you have it, try and get a bank statement from that period, etc... whatever you have). If you have more than 3 years of experience without it, you can remove it from work history and keep it in personal history, there won't be a need for reference letter then
