Any one applied from Pakistan for work permit, If Yes your time line please???

I applied from Pakistan for work permit, LIMA Exempt Intra company transfer.
Applied on 18 July with Upfront medical and police clearance certificate.
Biometrics request came on 19 July.
Biometrics submitted on 20 July.
Nothing after that, still waiting.

Got LMIA in june, applied for federal trades class on 14th june ,2017. I was hoping for a draw but unfortunately no luck, i decided to proceed towards work permit on 26th junly, fingerprint done, nothing afterwards.

Do we need a police clearance certificate for work permit??? i dont think so . secondly if your NOC is LMIA exempt than process in of 15 days if i am not wrong, Am i right????

Yes we do need police clearance in all cases, it is a must requirement.
You are right it should be two weeks processing but i guess they are taking time for background check, which is a lengthy process.

Well Faiq its not you who will apply, It will be an employer who will apply on your behalf(if you are selected). Rules have changed from 28th august and eventually it is very tough now to get job now.
