I just applied for the canadian student study permit back on August 6 and completed my biometrics on august 10, I don't need an interview or medical examination. It's been a bit over a month, how can I tell them to speed up? My classes have already begun!!!

try submitting a case specific enquiry. Some times, it triggers the visa officer to open your file as he has to reply to your query.

No updates yet, they just responded saying due to the nature of my application they can't give much information.
They did tell me that they can confirm that my VISA is indeed in Riyadh.
They also told me that I should contact Riyadh instead.
I emailed them, and they said I need to be on hault for at least 8 weeks to even be eligible for a response.

They replied in how many days, also processing time is 5 weeks but they are taking more time ...
It took them like two days to reply. And yeah it's past 5 weeks for me. People applying for the UK get it in 10 working days.
Yo, I applied on august 6 too from saudi arabia and haven't recieved any update yet and my university already started as well.
Did you apply paper based?
I think we all should presurrize saudi arabia's canadian embassy.
The review of additonal documents changed from "The additional documents added are being reviewed" to "We do not need any additional documents". Does that signify anything?
