What do you mean time of permanence? If you're asking how valid your profile is it's one year if you don't get ITA. As for when you get selected it depends on your points and the draws
Your EE profile is valid for 1 year. After that you will need to recreate another account if you didn’t get ITA.
Once you become PR, your PR status is valid for 5 years, and you can renew it as long as you have been in Canada for 2 out of those 5 years.
