I dont understand why they takes a lot of time for visa stamping in ADVO when in other visa ofice maximum of days only (ill check othe forum)

You might get yours before me though, i am guessing you sent yours from dubai and arrived at embassy 21st, mine was sent ftom muscat vfs so it arrived 22nd

Got my PPR a week ago and submitted to VFS dubai on 5th. Abu Dhabi received on 6th. One question, I provided the photos without writing the Name and DOB on the back of it. These photos of mine and my spouse was taken at VFS dubai itself. I asked them if it is okay they said it's fine.
How do you guys reckon about this. I know one guy who got his Passports stamped along with COPR though he committed the same mistake. I have to say ADVO is dead slow. I believe that friend of mine got it within 5 days. His Visa Office is in colombo Sri Lanka.

If VFS says its fine....perhaps its fine. I feel you have nothing to worry since you took the photos at VFS itself. In my case, I took the photo outside in a private studio and got it stamped and signed and VFS accepted that picture. VFS specifically looked behind to check if it was signed and stamped. Maybe the ones taken at VFS may not need the stamp since they have verified your identity and took it themselves.

Thanks John. Can you please advise me when I will get back my visa given they have received my passport on 6th of Sept. looking at the trend will I have to wait three weeks, which means end of this month.
