I sent my passport and other requested documents to Pos V O via DHL in May of 2017. I receive an email today informing me that no documents was received from me to their office.What can I do to retrieve my documents. Any help please. Thank You.

Did you not recieve a tracking number from DHL? where are you sending from? My wife ecently sent her passport through DHL From georgetown Guyana, it took about two days and it's been signed off on our tracking number as delivered.

Check your tracking number on your way bill through DHL's online tracking system, it should tell you where your package last processed, if not than call DHL and find out what's going on.

I am going to approach DHL on Monday to see if my Documents was returned. I did however mailed my documents to this address,High commission of Canada Immigration section PO Box 565 Port of Spain T&T. I believe it is the same address as Sweet Briar Road St. Clair Pos T&T. Am I correct.

Track your document to see where it is at or if someone signed for it...contact DHL and ask them what the hell is going on. If someone at their office signed for the document collect the name and write in to them via email advising them the name of the person and date and time it was signed for.

We are trying to see if my wife can get off work. But she has both work and school to get out of. That's gonna be difficult.
I do get the reason behind the interview. I just wish they wouldn't drag there feet so much...

I know, it is so troublesome.

hello everyone, i have been reading everyone's post through my journey and we all know its stressful with waiting on life changing decisions so because you guys was really helpful i decided to sign up and give my timeline NOTE....that i applied through family class (spouse) i didnt email or constantly ask for status update i waited patiently, READ up on the CiC website (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/) and only reply to the correspondence they sent to me in an accurate manner because asking for status updates takes time of your application when you do so too often.....i also realize that every couple of months i got correspondence from them on specific dates like the 7, 8, 26 & 27 i hope my post will help you/relieve your mind a little

Yea!!! I was searching this forum for another Grenadian .

Got my PPR on the 28th Aug and sent it by Fedex on the 29th. Took until Friday the 1st Sep to get there. Just waiting on POS VO, but I did get a reply to an email I sent them saying my PP will be returned by next week. Fingers crossed!

25th April 17 - application sent to CIC
10th July 17 - AOR
15th Aug 17 - Medical, RFPF and other docs
6th Sept 17 - Medical passed
Awaiting PPR!!

Well perseverance is the key with this process!! It has been almost 2 yrs for me and I'm glad to see the end is near!!

Thanks for your kind words,but why would my passport is been held for more than 106 days.Background check is done before your passport is requested am I correct?

That is a very long time for your passport to be kept. You should probably email to find out the issue! And no I did not appeal...I applied to CIC in April...but I started from the provincial level before reaching this stage! So that is where the 2 years came from. But I would definitely inquire as your passport should not typically take that long to get back!

Finally got decision made after three (3) long years.I would like to thank everyone for your input, especially the seniors who gave valuable and profound information when needed.I would pray that everyone get a speedy decision to be reunited with your love ones.
