IT Professionals seeking job in Saskatchewan Canada

I am an IT professional and I landed through SINP in SK, Canada on PR without a job. It’s been a huge struggle finding a job here for me and I am still on the same boat. I was reading through the threads and ran into a very good one where one of the members has explained the job hunting process in an excellent way. Reading through multiple posts I found that one of the key elements in finding a job in Canada is networking but my question is: what and how is the best way to network here? I have been here since past 2 months and honestly I have not been able to meet anybody from IT. Again networking is challenging so thought maybe IT Professionals seeking for a job in Saskatchewan Canada can connect here and share their experiences and how to fine tune our job search.

Hey! I recently immigrated through SINP and I am here in Saskatoon. I'd say that IT is not as structured here as it could be in terms of networking, but if you are looking into a Business Analyst / Management position, I strongly recommend engaging with PMI.
