I got little update today in my gckey status.

Review of document - FROM 'additional documents u provided are being reviewed' TO 'we do not additional documents'

i wonder if the two are different ? as in "Additional docs have been uploaded" and " we do not need additional documents" ?
I thought when it says uploaded, they might have been reviewed for completeness ? otherwise they could have said " we requre additional docs" ? thoughts ??

Yes, UCI and Application number is same doesn't who receives the email you or your spouse !!

that is not true. UCI is different for Spouse and PA. Application # is the same. He will need his UCI#

While my spouse have started to fill up IMM5669 form there is UCI & Application Number but for him still ain't get letter according to the lawyer.Could he use my UCI & Application number!

if his medical is done then you can get his UCI# from that form. UCI stands for UNIQUE Cleint ID. Which is different for every individual. The least you can do is call IRCC and confirm the status of your file. Your lawyer sounds like an idiot who is screwing you guys over. Don't let them do that. Be proactive and call IRCC.

seems like backgroud check completed for you. but who knows how this process work. but definitely a good sign.

Honestly I cannot say that this is the natural progression because well CIC is so effing mysterious! However, I think that they must have concluded eligibility and won't be needing anymore docs from you. I think you might see BGC go in progress soon if it already hasn't. All the best.

Recently I got the same change as well. I don't know if it is a good sign or what?

I'm a April 7th Applicant; AOR2 June 19th NDVO; my GCKEY has been we do not need additional documents for about a month now and for background check it is: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.

Last update according to my GCMS Notes was on July 20th and the Application Assignment due date was August 19, 2017.

Whether it says uploaded or do not need additional documents, one think is for sure it's a good sign. As @Kinza_Bee mentioned they are very irregular with their updates but you can reassure yourself that they have received whatever you have provided.
