Change of Primary NOC

Hello All,

I got my ITA August 23rd, 2017, My Primary NOC (2283) will be exactly 3 years on the 29th of September. Should I change my Primary to the one that I have 3 years on, but is a Class C category with a letter of explanation or should I decline my PR ITA and wait till I get another ITA? Why I feel this way is, already on my EE form I forgot to put my middle name and I need to understand the implications of that on my PR form. I have added the name now using the modify family information option.

If I'm not mistaken I don't think it matters much as they'll count your full years of experience regardless of NOC as long as work experience is at least 1 continuous year per job

It matters if the NOC is C as it is not counted as skilled work experience.

Yes indeed, didn't understand it as C. So it counts as 0 years?

Does that mean I can wait till the 29th when it is exactly 3 years? or should I decline and reapply after the date?

It's only a month of wait. You can book your medicals in the meantime, start preparing next stage paperwork etc... Why risk it I guess (assuming you have a high CRS score)
