"You don’t need to show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family to meet the program requirements of the Canadian Experience Class (this includes provincial nominees who are part of the CEC stream)."

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

BUT to be 100% safe she should just put a figure above the minimum requirement.

regards
Hi TanakaM,

Can the funds be borrowed from my parents so I will have atleast the minimum requirement? I want to show that I have $19,000 for the 3 of us (spouse, son and I)

Is CIC requiring 6 months bank statements or just certificate letter from the bank?

Thanks again!

If you have a statement from your parents that it is a gift it is acceptable. A loan is not.

Thanks that's very helpful tjsecondtry. My parents can definitely provide me a gift letter.

One question is already answered. 5 more to go :)

I'll take a shot at another. A full year is judged by number of hours worked. You qualify now on that basis, so your application should be fine this week.

Definitely list your sister for the points. I'm honestly not sure what to do about a Canadian husband.
For others, I think you need proof if you list them here and they won't give you points, so I wouldn't bother.

Tjsecondtry, thanks for your effort to answer my questions. I will list my sister as my relative then.

Statement not need, CIC require a bank letter.

I'm sure someone who knows more will be able to help you later. Do you know what your score will be?
Based on my answers in the CIC CRS tool, my grand total points is 472 as of today. I am turning 35 on Sep 16, so I guess my score will go down a little bit to 466.

I am really crossing my fingers that by the time they assess my profile I will still get the same score.

How about yours?

Hi Guys,

I hope everyone is doing well and excited for the next draw.

I am an inland applicant and I have few questions regarding my EE profile. I really need your opinions and suggestions. Could someone please enlighten me about these points.

1. My husband is a Canadian citizen. How do I exclude him on my EE profile? There is a question "Is your spouse accompanying you in Canada?" Should I answer "no" to this question? Will they require his documents post-ITA? What documents should we prepare?

2. How can i claim the sibling points in EE? There's a question under relatives in Canada - "Does applicant have a relative who is a citizen or permanent resident of Canada? (The relative must be 18 or older and living in Canada.)? In this case, I do have lots of Canadian citizen relatives which is my husband, my mom and dad, my grandmother, my uncles and aunts, and also my sister. Should I choose "sister/brother" to be able to claim the sibling points? Or should I choose "spouse" so CIC knows that my husband does not need to be in my application? I am really confused about this?

3. As I mentioned that my husband is Canadian citizen, does he needs to get upfront medical exam as well? I booked my upfront medical on Sep 21, 2017. I would like to know if he also needs one.

4. I am hoping to qualify in EE Canadian Experience Class I started working on Sep 6, 2016. What is the best date to apply? The whole year I worked for 40 hrs/week except for the week mentioned below. I counted the weeks from Sep 6, 2016 till date minus the one week unpaid leave and it looks like that tomorrow, Sep 8, 2017, i have completed my 52 weeks. Do you think it is safe to submit my EE profile tomorrow or should I wait till next Friday?

Nov 28 - Dec 2, 2016 (exactly one week) - vacation not paid
May 22 - May 29, 2017 - paid vacation

5. I already have a AINP PNP application submitted in January 2017. I received my AOR in March 2017, paid my landing fee upfront. My question is should I pay again landing fee (if luckily i received an ITA) for my express entry application so it won't delay the processing? I need suggestions.

6. Lastly, I checked in CIC website the proof of funds required. Since there are 2 people in my application (my son and I), do I need to show at least $15,312 or $$18,825 for 3 people (my son, husband and I). Honestly, we only have $12,000 CAD in our savings account so that's what I put in my EE profile. Should I worry about this since I am hoping to be qualified in EE CEC stream?

Thank you in advance for all your replies and suggestions and it is greatly appreciated. Have a nice day.
Hi,

1) answer yes. They will ask if he is a Canadian citizen or not.
2) Just put your sister.
3) No, he won't.
4) They don't care about vacation, but just wait until Friday, no rush.

Question, why are you applying through Express entry, when your husband is a Canadian citizen? You surely qualify for a spousal visa.

Regards
