Hi,

Hope you are all doing great. I got a job offer and a positive LMIA on a food service industry. I am currently working as in IT industry as a programmer. Also, I have submitted my work permit application online. I know my experience is not related to food service but the job offer doesn't need any experience for the position, only highschool diploma. Once I got the offer I enrolled on a food service program. I am just wondering if I have a high approval rate? I am anxious with regards to my application, I am worried that the officer might refuse my application since I have a different work experience. Anyone here who have the same experience ? Thanks for all of your response.

This sounds very strange if you have no experience at all in food service that you were the only candidate qualified for the LMIA and the employer was able to show that no PR or citizen was available, just saying. Good luck if it works out
