I got PPR email one month ago, and I have sent my passport to Ottawa on the same day. There’s no any news after, neither did I link my application to my cic account. Is this normal ? If they ask me for my passport, does it mean my application has been approved?
one month after PPR, no any news.

Mostly if they ask for passport it's because your apllication is approved but not 100% sure. For my wife it took 5 weeks to get passport back from singapore VO. Were you from? I just wonder because Ottawa visa office used to process application from visa exempt country and doesn't ask for passport.
I applied Outland but live in Canada . Sending passport to Ottawa is one of the options they gave me

I am checking the tracking number everyday, but it’s not been activated yet.
I can’t even check if the visa is approved or not. I didn’t link my application to my cic as my lawyer linked to his account , and right now he’s on vacation .
I have tried to call cic (18882422100) everyday to check the application status, it keeps telling me it has not been approved yet ,I’m not sure if that information is uptodats.
Would you please call the number , to check if you get the same answer ? 18882322100 option 1 and 1 and 2 , and then your application number to check ur status
I have got the passport yesterday and landed at peace arch.
My cic showed approved on 8/22. Tracker actived on 8/25.
You can visit express entry forum , there is a thread for those who sent passport to Ottawa in July.
I made some calls to the call center. The agent told me the passport was sent to the printing room on 8/4, that is the only date matters. Ottawa sent passports in batches and normally on fridays, you can expect this friday or next.
Try going to your MP and have them send an email to the immigration to get an update? You shoukd be ok. Hopefully they are just busy issuing too many visas.
