Was wondering if the "request for medical" will be made via e-mail , traditional snail mail/postage or through myCIC?

Did you apply as a FSW Express Entry? If so, you are supposed to do the medical upfront, meaning before you submitted your documents post ITA.

Hi Tlou
I am a in-land applicant and applied through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. On my MPNP letter it stated i am not eligible for express entry.
I received MPNP approval on: December 31, 2016
CIC received my application on 2017/01/30.
I received the AOR e-mail on March 27, 2017
On June 12, 2017, I received the "generic PDF" from CIC that talks about police clearance, Schedule A, RPRF etc.
I paid RPRF on the same day (June 12, 2017) and received confirmation from CIC on July 11, 2017 that they received my proof of payment.

Initially, I was told to get my medical up front. We did that and the first one expired. Then they changed the process in December 2016, to make the paperwork 'easier', and was told NOT to get it ahead of time, but that we needed to wait for a request for medical from CIC....CIC sent it via my e-mail, I printed the form off, and brought it with me for my new medical, when medical was completed at Dr. office, my doctor sent it directly via e-medical. Ask your doctor if that is what they will do for you. You also have to see a doctor on their forms, in case you didn't know that. Good luck! I also had an issue with my medical....as I was waiting for such a long time to get the request I called CIC and they had in fact sent me an email for my medical but I didn't receive it...even checked junk...anyhow they resent while I was on the phone. Maybe call to be sure they hadn't sent it already and you just didn't receive it yet? I would believe they would send it e-mail...only because that is how they sent mine.

Awesome thx for the info TypsyGypsy. I have been keeping close eye on my inbox (including the junk folder). I have tried calling CIC on numerous occasions, I don't think they take PR related calls from the public anymore. You always get the same "we are experiencing high call volumes and we unfortunately cant connect you to an agent blah blah blah. I have tried phoning early, mid day and late , no difference.

Sad as it sounds.....I have had this same problem, I rectified that by calling and pressing options that didn't apply to me, hence getting through and asking my questions....they were able to help. However, if you have questions be SPECIFIC on your case....even if they have it in front of them...I inquired about a work permit and was told yes of course just go to any POE and fill out, pay and get one....in my case that was not an option, as we applied outbound....that is only for inbound applicants.....drove all the way to POE to get it and for nothing, was turned away. Had the person on the phone noticed or god forbid even asked me, I wouldn't have made the wasted trip and had my hopes smashed once again so....be wary! Good Luck!!! but try the phones that way.
