So yes I got an updated PPR after 30 days from Paris VO asking me to send my passport to Tunsi VO by a courier service only or in person, but there was a governmental restriction on sending passports abroad even to embassies etc and also my passport was issued before 2008 which was the year Tunisians imposed on people from my country to enter Tunisia. So I emailed CPC Ottawa one more time and I asked if I can go to Cairo VO (as there is no such restrictions from the Egyptian government) and they replied after another 30 days with a "Yes, you can go to Cairo VO".

So I went to Cairo on 17 June, submitted my passport on 18 June and received it back on 22 June (it was a very fast processing).

I landed on 7th August but left Canada without my PR card 3 weeks later due to personal reasons.
