I am currently asking my employer to provide me the work reference letter. I noticed the requirement on the website is as follows:
  1. should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),
  2. should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits
The work reference letter is used to prove my work experience in my home country, while company in my home country usually use common seal to prove credential. They will provide the contact information of supervisor, common seal of company, but no signature can be provided. Would it be a problem?

Not sure, but if they are willing to provide a common seal on the letter, they should be able to give a signature as well.

Thanks. The seal is from the corporate not specific person. Per the company procedure they are willing to issue me an employment separation letter with all the details required, but due to corporate policy, they do not sign on that document.

In that case, go ahead and submit your reference letters and try to explain in LOE why there's no signature.

I guess it should be fine and you are probably not the first person without a signature in their reference letter.

Good luck!

Signature is more important than a seal. My letters had no seal, just a signature at the bottom with contact information.
Not all offices use seals anymore.

If they don't sign per policy, it is easily explainable if CIC needs clarification. Just add a Letter of Explanation along with the documents or make this letter a part of the PDF document you upload, so they can see the clarification without having to ask you and wait for reply and then delay the process.
