Hi there, I applied on the 26th July thru the Ahmedabad VFS which was forwarded to Bangalore. My status changed to review of eligibility yesterday but I haven't received any medical update yet. Does any one of you have any idea about the duration of completion of this step?

Same here! They started reviewing my eligibility on Friday but no medical update whatsoever. I applied on 21st July through Chennai VFS and it was sent to New Delhi. Don't know what's happening. Have you ever been to Canada?

When do your classes start from? No, I haven't been there. Is that in any way related to the application process?

My classes start on 5th September and No, your travel history is not related to the process at the moment. I don't know why they wouldn't update our medical.

It's something strange actually, my profile details show "Updated" and go back to "Submitted" like every other hour. If yours is taking this long, I'll probably have to wait for another week.

I agree with you but Bangalore applicants are at least getting updates regularly.

Don't ever think like that! They are processing my application for almost 6 weeks and still I'm yet to get the final decision. Never lose hope. I know it's irritating.

Can't really say. It takes somewhere from a day to a few weeks.

yes , some people who got medical updates this morning got their approval this afternoon itself just be patient it will happen

Yup, you are right! I shouldn't lose any hope now. Here's my profile
10th CBSE 8.2 CGPA
12th HSC 58 % (mentioned in the SOP that my low grades are due to my continuous absence which was obviously for medical reasons)
Bsc. Visual communication with major in Photography and allied & electives in Programming and Web development.
Applied for a diploma in Computer systems technology in Cambrian College.
I have certificates for my participation in IT competitions.
Mentioned in SOP that I had to do my bachelors in Visual Communication due to my low grades in 12th grade but still picked subjects related to computers during the college days.
No study gap.
I hope it's a strong application.
