CIC site shows system maintenance...... Is that a sign for a draw tomorrow??

No, I don't think so. I have seen weeks with maintenance but without draw. Also, we already have 3 draws in this month, so there is only 1% chance (unless CIC goes crazy) of a draw tomorrow.

does anyone know how often they do the draws? My score is 409. I have IELTS score of L:8.5 R:8.5 W:6.5 S:6.5
I have checked that if I score good in writing and speaking (like 7 bands), it will shoot my score to 475. So if anyone can let me know about the next draw. I have heard that there is a possible draw on 31st of this month. And when do they start background checks? Like call to employers?

Ideally the draws should happen every alternate week. But with CIC you never know. Take up IELTS again and boost your score. I am currently at 408 and I am taking IELTS on September 9th. My score can go to 478 if I do well in the IELTS. Missed out by 0.5 in writing in my first attempt.

Hello everyone. I have submitted all my documents post ITA but I have a small doubt which is bothering me a lot regarding employment reference letter.
I am working in the same company from last 4 years and on the basis of the experience of this company only, I have applied for PR in Canada. My employer Hr has provided me an employment experience letter in a generic format which does not mention all my jobs and responsibilities in detail.
I have written an email communication to my HR to provide it in a detailed format.
However, she has replied back on the e-mail that she is not authorized to give the detailed job duties on company letter head so please consider this email. The email consists of her official email signature which includes company logo, her designation and official contact number.
In addition, She has declined to sign the notarized document as she is not supposed to sign any legal document.
Would that employment reference letter on email be sufficient along with email communication with HR or it can create any issue.?

Your suggestions would definitely help me

Friends I have a question....If my ONIP invitation expires i.e, 6 months have lapsed after receiving the invitation and I did not apply for the same ....do I have to recreate the EE profile to get an invitation again from ONIP?

considering your analysis and experience which are the good stock to invest in, i am not greedy but if my immigration expenses can be covered up by investing short term... and short answer would be appreciated
you must say you have good sense of humor !!!

in short,best stock to invest in is 'oneself'...and if you've more left to invest,do it on family...and still some more room,go for friends..

I guess its nice to comeback and greet other ROH regulars who aren't in our group lol. At first i was only a reader. Then slowly and steadily i began to post. I have been following ROH since early 50's, i believe. There used to be many regulars who whose posts were fun to read. However, so soon as they got their ITA, they vanished without a trace lol, not blaming at all for that. But have know that, my respect for you @lino82 to stay back after your ITA and keep helping. You are a one true good soul, mate!

these draws are so much on my mind, that i woke up around 2am today and opened up the website to see if there is any draw. did the same last time, after seeing it going from 433 to 434 , i said, why did i just opened the website, couldn't sleep afterwards.
Stuck at 425, i am planing to redo my IELTS, i had List 8.5 , speak 7.5, read : 7.5 writing 7 , small improvement in reading and writing will make a difference of 6 points.
& Oh God, has IELTS examination become so expensive , 280$

I just have a quick one, if you have blood relatives in canada but dont want to claim points for them in FSW, in the EE profile can you just choose NO to the question do you have any relatives in canada? Will this be seen as misrepresentation?
