July 2017 applications from Pakistan

Hi guys!! Im from Pakistan. Applied for Study permit.

I wonder iif anyone herecan helpp me out.

Visa applied: 13th of july 2017
Biometric received on: 14th of july
Submitted biometric to VAC on: 17th of july.

Appliction status:-

Eligiblity: we will let you know wen we start reviewing ur eligiblity
Medical: you donot need a medica
Biometrics: we need your fingerprints
Background: processing

Thing is i have already given my biometrics and still got no update.
On 15th of july my application got an update and the first page before application status there used to be written "your action is required" where as now it says submitted. But when i open my application status biometric column says "we have not recieved your biometrics". I wrote an email to cic month ago and they said theye facing an issue uploading biometrics.

Another issue is myy classes are starting on 5th of september.

Any one here who can suggest me a good idea?

Hmm. I have the exact same issue. My dates and all are the same as well.

Most of the Pakistani applicants are getting rejected on merely 2 reasons:
1. Not a bonafide student
2. They dont think you will return back to your country after course completion.

This is unfortunate and, I think, kind of, racist.
But if anyone wants to try again or even trying for the first time, please make a strong SOP and get as many recommendations from your professors, etc to support your application and convince somehow that you are a bonafide student and intend to return to your country after completion of course.

Islamabad. Applied online. My status is exactly the same as yours. Biometrics didn't update and after 30 days it went from "action needed" to "submitted" without my fingerprints being received.

Hi guys,
Im from Pakistan,
I applied for student visa on 24th June,
Got bio metrics done on 26th June,
Got called for medical exam on 27th July,
Passed Medical Exam on 4th August,
Now still waiting for final answer the embassy hasnt even asked for my visa yet and im worried if i'll get the visa in time as classes start on 7th September and Eid Holidays are also coming up, Can Anyone tell me how long it takes for a final answer after u have passed the medical exam and what are the chances of rejection after passing medical.

My visa was rejected on 14th August I applied for first time on 17th July, on the grounds of my purpose of visit only.
I have reapplied on 18th August Friday (my passport was delivered on Monday 21 August) I linked my application online on 23rd August.

My classes are starting on 5th September. 18th September is my last deadline to report in college.

In my reapplication I wrote new Statement of purpose and tried clearing my intentions and attached Conditional job offer. Plus I requested Head Canadian honorary consulate in Lahore to endorse my application which he agreed.

My agent said that so many deserving candidates are being rejected visas this time on the same reason "purpose of visit" and I might get rejected again. But I have taken this chance.

What is the status of your application, did you apply online or paper application and finally did you get the visa? Moreover, you applied from Riyadh or from Jeddah?

I applied from Khobar and it still says the application is in process.

Sorry for late response, I applied online from karachi, any update on your matter? Have you tried contacting cic, if so how did they respond to this error?

I went to the VAc again and told them about the biometrics, they asked me to send an email to an id with my biometrics receipt code. I did that but so far no reply. Been more than 15 days. Have you contacted anyone?
