Urgent Help Required - Automatic Rejection for Express Entry Profile

Hi Everyone,
I need your help please. I have been trying to help a friend in his immigration application. He wants to move with his family to Canada. He wants to go through the provincial nominee program. I started by creating the express entry profile, but I keep getting an automatic rejection once I submit the profile. I know for a fact he meets the minimum requirements:
- He has more than 10 years of experience logistics management.
- He had his bachelor degree assessed by WES.
- He achieved CLB level 7 (IELTS: L: 6.5 - R: 6.0 - W: 6.0 - S: 8.0)
- He has more than 50K of funds to support himself, his wife and 3 children.

His wife does have a degree but it is not assessed. She also speaks French but she has not sat for any test, but I think this is not required to meet the minimum requirements. Once we submit the application, he intends to submit the expression of interest to PEI.

Kindly help us in knowing why he gets automatically rejected although he meets the minimum requirements. Is there any other way to apply for PNP program?

How many points does your friend score in the FSW points? Check the below link and calculate the FSW points manually. To be eligible, our friend needs to score at least 67/100.

The main reason why he wants to submit the profile is that he needs the Profile ID along with the Job Validation ID to submit an expression of interest to PEI. Those 2 pieces are required. Once he gets gets his nomination, he will update his Express Entry profile.

He needs to work on his IELTS score to get at least 67 points in the above table. One cannot submit the EE profile if that criteria is not met.

Hi ComTrix,
No, I don't think it works this way - Express Entry is for 3 very specific programmes - Federal Skilled Worker Programme, Federal Skilled Trades Programme, and Canadian Experience Class. If he doesn't meet the requirements for any of these (which it doesn't appear he does), he can't submit an Express Entry profile. Provincial Nominees who go through Express Entry ALREADY met the requirements for one of these 3 programmes and just use the provincial nomination to better their chances of getting an Invitation to Apply.

I do believe there are a very small number of PNP programmes though that don't use Express Entry (check the sticky thread about PNP programme summaries on this forum for more information), so he would have to go through one of those...
