I need to get the Canadian photo specs for EE with no luck so far?
Any thoughts please?
I do have a 2 by 2 soft copy photo can I edit it? Or what should I do?

Hi Canadianspirit,
I'm not sure if I'm understanding your question correctly, but here are the photo specs for Permanent Residents provided by CIC (see link):
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445EB-e.pdf

I would recommend getting a professionally-taken picture rather than editing one you have now, but I'm sure people have used existing pictures they edited... maybe...

Thnx for the kind reply. I am asking about where can I get this photo done in the US and get a soft copy to upload it?
Ooooh! Could you try Googling 'Passport Photos in [Whatever city you're in]'? A location should be fairly easy to find... I believe some Walgreens have facilities for taking passport photos... I'm pretty sure most places that take passport photos should also provide you with digital copies now... Just bring the specification PDF with you so they know what the permanent residency specifications are, because they're a little different from regular passport photo specifications.

@Canadianspirit :

For your Canada PR photos, please do not choose walgreens, CVS etc. You will most likely get a photo re-send request. Go for professional photographers in your city or area. Check with them about the acceptance rate for PR photos. Provide them specifications. They will most likely have them. Do not rush on to having photos quickly rather focus on minimizing re-sending them. Hope this helps.

I took it from walgreens and it was fine. they will give you digital copies as well. Make sure to let them know it should be in Canada specs and they will make it for you.

I used Walgreens, they seem to be the only ones who have a specific Canadian immigration photo setting on the machine. Make sure to specify that's what you're looking for. Expensive compared to Sam's but at least you'll get the correct size.
