You are currently at IP2 stage. Its a good sign. However, the docs status would change to "No additional docs required". You are very close to get PPR and may be you can get it in next couple of weeks. CIC releases PPRs in batches. Your may be already approved or waiting for a last review from officer. Good luck! does line regarding document required should change.. or it may remain same all the way..
CIC is very unpredictable. Usually it changes before or together with BGC status. It won't be a surprise if you get PPR mail without change in docs status. Mostly folks see a change in status before the golden mail.

You are at IP2 stage. Your application is approved or may require a final review. The most chances are of approval. Just wait for couple of weeks for PPR mail. You are almost at the final call. Good luck!
Next is just PPR email. CIC releases PPRs in batches (mostly country wise). Your application would be already in a batch and may be waiting for the release. It may take couple of weeks.
Sorry to ask but what is this IP2 and IP1, I cannot see any one of those in my PR application status on CIC account.
IP1 is before your background check. It usually says "we will let you know when we start your background check". However, IP2 is usually when your background is almost checked and waiting for a last review. Interesting thing to note is that when application is at IP1 then most likely it is being processed at CIO Sydney and whrn application is at IP2 it is being processed at CPC Ottawa. Hope this helps

In which stage the work exp and educational background are checked??
This kind of checks are called R10 checks and are perfomed before IP2 stage. If your application is at IP2 stage then it means your eligibility, work exp has been checked and just waiting for a last review by officer either at CPC Ottawa or your local visa office (New Delhi).
