Background Check Ndvo

I have applied on March 8 and my file is received by NDVO on May 8 and since then there is no update regarding my background check ! The officials haven't even started yet !! And I was going through March 2017 spreadsheet and many other applicants who applied during the same period, even got the passport requests, I hope there's nothing to get worried ! I am anxious, Is there anybody else facing the same issues? I know that it doesn't exceeded the normal processing time, I am just curious!

And yes I have submitted PCC, and my medical status is passed, that all is done in April.

You are fine. Im a January applicant and they started my bgc just last month. It's true that many people who applied in January, February and March got PPR already but thats probably like 10% of the cases (4-5 months processing right now falls into the 10%) most applicants will have to wait around 6-9 months and a few will take beyond the 12 months.

Nd decision made ws updated on 14th july

Nd m still waiting 4 passport request
Not sure if dis much delay is normal

any updates on your file... did you try to order a GCMS or tried to call the canadian number?

how come your BG check went "in process" on the same day as ur file transferred to NDVO?

Hi.. i am march 20, applicant and may 8th aor 2. Application in process from may 8th. No BG yet. Looks like ours were missed and they moved forward.. hope we get soon..
Last week mine additional documents changed to do not need additional documents. Apart from that nothing. This wait is killing.

There are 2 options:
Privacy Act-FREE
Access to Information Act-$5

Here's the procedures:
1. Site: https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/ (not 3rd party)
2. Fill in the form, please see below the important items you need to know.
- Department, select IRCC
- To be eligible, select Individual/Corporation currently in Canada
- Complete all your Personal Information, please take note that all info
with * should be filled up and put N/A if not necessary.
- Requesting on your own behalf: Yes
- Category that best describe you: Member of the Public
- How would receive the requested record: E-mail
- Select Privary Act, it is free
- Type of records: Case Files
- What type of record would you like to request, select Permanent Residence
- Which specific info are you looking for: The electronic notes of the immigration/citizenship officer

By the way, i received the requested records more than 31 days and I did sent follow up email to ATIP-AIPRP@cic.gc.ca for 2 times. You will know further instructions once you have received the automatic email with your tracking number.
