1 diploma + 1 degree = 1 post-sec credential only?!

Hi,

My brother is applying for Express Entry, he is having 2 diplomas of 2 year each. Is it comes under only 1 "Two-year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute". Is there any chance he ll get additional points of 2nd two year diploma.

I have a B.Tech (4 hrs) and a Post graduate certificate in Information Security from IGNOU. I checked the following link

"www wes org/educators/pdf/indiapolicypacket.pdf " and it has below mentioned on page 15

"Postgraduate Diplomas (PGDip) within the university sector almost always require a minimum of a bachelor’s degree for admission. However, this may not be the case with non-university institutions. Programs range from six months to two years, although most require one year of full-time study. PGDip programs are generally professionally oriented. The Association of Indian Universities recognizes Post Graduate Diplomas in Management (PGDM) from a small number of non-university institutions as equivalent to an MBA from an Indian university. "

Would this also mean that 6 months PG certificate can also fetch me points. Has anyone applied and experienced it? Please assist!

I just got my report from Wes and it says that my Canadian equivalency summary is Diploma (two years) and bachelor's degree (three years). In details, it says,
1. Seconday School Diploma and Diploma (Two years)
2. Bachelor's Degree (Three years)

I am a mechanical engineer having wes evaluation of 4 years bachelor program. I am also enrolled in a Distance learning Masters Program. I have completed Post Graduate Diploma level. My transcript is stating that i am eligible for post graduate diploma. As i did not exit the program and continued my MSc, i did not get degree certificate of post graduate diploma. I have a transcript and i can get letter from university stating i am eligible for post Graduate Diploma. In this case can i get wes evaluation of post graduate degree??

I have a Diploma (3Yrs after 10th Std) from Autonomous Tech. Institute in Pune and a 2yr MBA from Tripura University
Please Note: - I have skipped 12th Std. After 10th Std, I opted for a 3Yr Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Therefore, my total years of education is 15 Yrs:-
10 std + 3 yr Diploma + 2 Yr MBA
Could anyone please advice me on what would be my ECA result ? Will it be "Masters" or "2 or more Certificates / Diploma"

Doesn't matter if it says one semester. It is a post graduate certificate nevertheless. Good luck with your application.

Important notice: One must be for a program of three or more years.
ECA assessment results:

A three-year or more certificate, diploma, or degree

PLUS any of the results in the sections below (not including secondary/high school), or:

Post-Bachelor's Certificate
Post-undergraduate certificate
Post-Bachelor's Diploma
Post-undergraduate diploma
Graduate Certificate

okay but the EE online application does not allow you to select "two or more" any more. So if somebody has a post secondary certificate and a 3 years bachelors , what options can we select? if we select "bachelors" for one row of education and select "one year" for another row, will the system calculate crs against "two or more" automatically post submission?

Please advise if anyone encountered first hand experience.

Guys whoever knows my case, please respond.

I have a 3.5 years diploma in Electronics & Comm Engg. after my secondary (10th) from India and then lateral entry in to 2nd year of B.Tech course admission so basically 3 years bachelor degree (though course is 4 year degree).

Will I be getting points for two degrees (B.Tech + Diploma) or only one (B.Tech) ?

I too have a same Question, i have done Diploma In civil engineering from India in after 10 + 3, and than i have completed Bachelors degree from india. so technically i'v 2 or more degrees and diploma, i.e 1). Diploma in civil engineering, 2). Bachelors in Civil Engineering, What Should i mention in EE profile, (two or more certificated, Diplomas and degrees one must be for a program of three ormore years)
