Hi,

Any update from June - July 2017 PNP Inland candidates???
It seems that PNP is speeding up.

It's probably slowing down, considering that more people are passing the 6-month mark

Yes, but before it uses to take 2-3 months for them to pass medicals.
Now, July 2017 Aor guys medical got passed within one month. I think they PNP - Inland is speeding up.

M also stuck in ss since 27th july i got a reply from ottawa that my file is under additional verification and agent said everything is done just waiting for a response from security agencies
What does this due date means ? Does it mean that our file wil be finalised by this date ?
I am in IP2 since July 25, 2017!
I feel terrible because they don't give you specific answers about what is going!

Nope :( however, after studying an old thread here on Canadavisa it shows that the guys at Ottawa pile up the VO change requests and answer them about once in a while altogether.. the wait continues!! It could take up to 30 days (20 working days) and even some applicants had to wait one or two weeks over the 30 days

Bro, any updates?

SOme delays can be expected in terms of security screening. You might be well aware of the situation with asylum seekers. Apparantely in Quebec 3600 people have entered illegelywithin first two weeks of August and you can imagine the numbers in others states such as ONtario etc etc. In order to ensure that these people are safe, the government is running initial security checks through RCMP before proceeding with their refugee claims processing.

Apparantly a large no of immigration officers are shifted to these places to ensure proper documentation and all.

This article talks about quebec only.

Sp GUys stay calm and wait for your turn till this situation normalizes.

I have no idea; it may mean nothing since the agent had no clear idea of what is happening and she told me that I know more than her! She might be new or something and the date she mentioned might be just like due date on Notes where it's just guideline; I am wishing the best in shaa Allah

I just found out that yesterday my application was updated and now my background check has changed to IP2 ;)
Btw I'm pretty sure it was updated yesterday since I check my account approx. 5 times a day.

Hope PPR is just behind the corner... o_O

Timeline in my signature.

Is there anyone who recently got bowp ? Does anyone have any idea applicants of which date are getting bowp these days ?

Hi team,

I am PNP applicant and currently in Canada. Can I get work permit after doing flagpoling?
Please advise.

I called CIC today and guy was such a douche bag, he was rude from start and asking questions like a police officer and asked me twice what were you told last time, 2nd time I said, I was told nothing, then he said I'm telling you, don't call us before December cause they won't have an answer since then
I mean seriously, wth, 3 months were not enough to review my document which they asked for and now they need 3 more, if you are so incompetent, stop working there and go home

Oh wow, and you AOR is December 2016???

Yeah 11 Dec 2016, ADR submitted 26 May, since then no updates at all, visa officer said need 3 months to review,,called today they said don't call before December. I mean seriously... speechless

We got the same answer. Do not call us again before end of December. I wonder if this is the next wave of prepared answers the call agents will use or if it REALLY means that our applications will take that long...

Where are you on Eligibility, Criminality and Medicals? Were you selected for Security Screening?
