My timeline for the EE FSW class is as follows:

1st ITA: 22/Feb/2017
AOR: 11/May/2017
Cancellation : 27/June/2017 (Due to a minor uploading issue)

2nd ITA: 12/July/2017
AOR: 31/July/2017

You can share your AOR status in this thread so that we all can gauge the processing times for July 2017 AOR's.

What was the minor uploading issue btw ? And had your medicals cleared when you got rejected ?

BGC Status Change: 29 Jul 17 Changed from: “We will Send you a Message when we start your BGC” to “Not Applicable”
BGC Status Change: 14 Aug 17 – “Not Applicable” to “We are processing your Background Check”

What does this mean? I didn't get any 'Background check is in progress' status.

What is the next step / status that I can expect?

You just moved from IP1 to NA2. Next step is IP2. You can expect this in next couple of weeks. After IP2 it will be Passport request. Since you have crossed IP1, its a good sign that most probably you have passed the eligibility. Now CIC will check your security background. Hope this helps

I read in some forum that for FSW Outland there isn't any IP2 stage. Any thoughts on this?

No there is always an IP2. Some people simply miss to see it. IP2 is usually done at Case Processing Centre Ottawa. Where a visa officer reviews all docs once before sending final request for passport.

If you have not paid your RPRF then you can pay it before CIC request you to pay. It really makes a difference and speed up the entire process. In worst case scenario if anyone who pay RPRF upfront but gets application reject then CIC refunds the amount of RPRF ($490).

Within 30 days you need to send your photos and passport. If you are unable to send in the timeline then after PPR you need to contact CIC as soon as possible and request for extension.

I have already paid RPRF. Just wanted to know how much time do we get to send the passport? Also how much time will it take to receive it back. I will be out of the country for a week next month; don't want that to clash with the passport request process.

30 days to send your passport after PPR. And 7-10 business days to get it back. Though it comes before this time period. If you are traveling for just one week then there should not be any problem.
