my question is, on average how long should i wait to get medicals done or i was wondering if anyone of you could break the stages and show with average waiting or processing time until the last step, which is your gold PR card)

Generally in 3-4 months. I had got in 5 months after AOR.

Did upfront medical. Medical of my 4 year old nephew didn't go well as my nephew didn't responded to doctor's questions otherwise he is fine. Now, can we book appointment with some other physician.
I don't know how e-medical system works at CIC end?

I have one question. The status on ecas shows:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on March 8, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on April 13, 2017. - (I did not receive any acknowledgment. )
3. We started processing your application on April 13, 2017.

I received letter providing my application number. The letter is dated 8th May 2017. The signature in this letter has NDVO address. So the letter I received on 8th May is AOR or FT?

I have not received any communication - email or letter - after 8th May.

Please advice.

my paper based application was received on 11 of August 2017, waiting for AOR.
