Spousal Inland applying open permit

Hi to everyone,

I hope someone can give me tips or tell me what is the next step that I need to do.

CIC received my mail application August 10,2017- spouse sponsorship with dependant and we dont receive any mail form them yet.

The Problem now is that my working status here in canada will expired SEPTEMBER 30, 2017., and i dont apply yet for OPEN PERMIT. CAN I apply for open permit without any email from CIC that they start processing my application? Do you think it will not conflict for my situation!!??

You're n Canada? you could've applied for OWP with your application of sponsorship. However, it takes approximately 4 months for it to be approved at the moment.

I dont have yet acknowledgement receipt from CIC, thats why I'm thinking i cant apply for my Open permit IMM5710.. Is it possible for me to extend my working visa here in canada Imm5708?

If you applied inland, you should have included the OWP app with the PR app. There was no need to wait for AOR.

If you applied outland, you can't apply for an OWP and will need to change your status to visitor.

Yes, my consultant.. what you think, can i still send my open permit application this week? BUT THE PROBLEM AGAIN, THE FORM IMM 5710 form for open permit asking INTEND OF WORK, what will i gonna put there? Can i leave tgat blank or N/A?

You can send the OWP app whenever you want. Put N/A for the employment/LMIA questions.
