Hi All,

my AOR was April 20th and I'm still IP1.
I've noticed something though, that people say it's important to upload the university degree itself. In my submitted forms I added the WES acknowledgement, signed degree entitlement letter from the university and transcripts. The reason I didn't upload the degree itself is because my wife lost hers, and her Uni will not print another one (only black and white copy) so she has only the entitlement letter.

So the question is, should I do something? send my only degree and not hers? send my color degree and her the black and white copy? explain further? how?

For those who don't know what an entitlement letter is, it's a formal letter from in English from uni, signed and stamped by the uni, stating the following:

"Faculy of X

To whom it may concern,
This is to certify that Mr. X ID Number XXXXX
Has completed the requirements for the B.A. degree as of XX/XX/20XX
In the department/s:

Psychology

Final B.A. grade: XX.XX

The degree has been granted in the ceremony of XX/20XX

Office of Student Affairs"

Based on your status (IP1), your file has been deemed complete by the agent, otherwise you would probably have been rejected. At this point of time it will not hurt to raise a CSE and submit your degrees and an entitlement letter from the Uni for your wife's degree. Colored scans will serve the best purpose.

PS: It won't hurt to actually pay and get another degree, if it's an option. Not for EE but for personal satisfaction, imo.

I wouldn't mind paying, it's just not possible, they don't do that, they only give out black and white copies with a stamp that says "copy", so I don't know if I should raise a CSE and submit my color degree and her black and white copy, it might look suspicious no?

No it wont, just provide a letter of explanation mentioning that it is lost.

Provide the degree "copy", entitlement letter with the Uni seal and your letter of explanation for your wife's degrees.
That will cover all bases.

Appreciate a thumbs up :)

I rather not do something that causes concern or raise issues that have been passed (if my file indeed was deemed completed by an agent according to my IP1), does anyone has experience in this kind of issue?

I second this. (Also, personally I wouldn't pay to have a copy made of the degree from the university because I have used the physical copy of my degrees exactly once: for express entry.)

so you recommend to raise a CSE and add the missing files and another LOE (in addition to one I submitted in my AOR)?

That's what I would do. Include your copies, plus whatever you have of hers (BW copy, letter, etc). Plus the LoE. My point of view is I'd rather give CIC too much documentation than not enough.
