Medical Changed From "Passed" to "Review In Progress"

Did you guys add any additional person in your application, like a new born baby? Because thats a common reason for such change in medical status

Yes new born Canadian baby, i don't think they would ask medical for new born baby as she has already Canadian citizenship. they had asked for birth certificate of her, i have already uploaded and then after medical results changed from Passed to reviewing. Due to this reason they changed status?

Most likely yes. But in this case you should be ok, give it a week or two and should hopefully change again by then.

It's very disappointing, not sure when I would get my approval........ i had submitted my application in mid feb. Until yesterday everything was passed as per cic customer care suddenly they changed medical passed to reviewing today............ not sure how long i have to wait

My pleasure. Thats a long wait. It might be a good thing to see changes in your status, they are hopefully doing something and the long wait might soon be over.

I am in the same situation, On August 3,2017 my status updates and showing medical passed. Just after a week it is changed back to " We are reviewing your medical results" I am not sure what is the reason for this. But hope everything goes well and will get PRR soon. As I applied on June 15. I talked to lawyer through whom I have applied and he said no issue in this case. It happened to many applicant. Please guys put your own experience here.

Generally, it takes 3-4 months if application is submitted using PNP way, federal only 1 month. good luck

I have done application in Expres Entry directly under CEC- Inland category. Still Waiting for some update. No change to status after August 13.
