the entire GTA area has fewer number of oath ceremonies compared to a single city in Alberta (Calgary has 30 citizenship ceremony compared to 16 accrossed entired GTA in same period). This explains why it is always slower in GTA than elsewhere. The reason is shortage of citizenship judges in GTA and no replacement or hiring of new judges in GTA.

Thanks, but nothing can be interpreted from Hamiltonian! One is processed in Mississauga and others no update
I applied and reside in hamilton but my exam is in mississauga on 31st....

Wow... I did not know that we may be asked to take test in a different city (assuming we do not live in rural areas where no local centre exists). Is this frequent or your case was specific?

My buddy lives in milton and he came hamilton for test last year ... so I believe this is normal and they see applications from different areas and they want to close files instead of keeping them on pending.

Ok thanks for reply, will be prepared for that - well, I am ready to fly coast to coast to have mine closed for sure, so I am encouraged to hear that...

Hello Folks!
Can Hamiltonians share their timelines after C6?
I live in Burlington but a friend has told that my application may get processed in Toronto ,Mississauga or Hamilton.
I know Toronto and Mississauga are slow, have no idea about Hamilton.
Can Hamiltonians please share their timelines and ideas?
