I got a email from Samuel Family Foundation saying that there is job offers in Canada. The email id was send from the samuelfamilyfoundation@gmail.com and the attachment mentions like this

Its a scam. Note the email domain address, yandex, is a russian internet service provider plus no company would use gmail account as opposed to their real domain in this case samuel.com.

Plus the listing has waiters, bar staff, room attendants, tour guards, beauticians and so on in a manufacturing company.?

Actual company is Samuel and Son plus the contact phone number is dubious as a FAX whereas the actual company contact number is area code 905. http://www.samuel.com/en/Pages/default.aspx


At some point after you have handed over your passport and personal details it is probable money will be asked for.

Samuel Family Foundation is real but not this job offer.

I had checked the same site and their foundation. I checked in website this forum and to get a clear answer I HD signed in here and ask you all for an opinion. Word of mouths and expertise in those who had gone through this can guide us all for a good reason. I appreciate your reply and thanking u all.

As said before this is one thousand percent a scam which you can tell by some of the grammar , the unrealistic offer of accomodation, all the free food/health/transport, 4 weeks vacation .

Add to this in your original post a whole list of occupations that make no sense from the fact the real company is a manufacturing company that on its website shows no indication of having any such ridiculous vacancies. Even this letter does not say what job is actually being offered with all these benefits when in a genuine letter that would usually in be the opening few lines.

When these scam offers come up it is difficult to see what the aim is other than to possibly introduce some dubious consultant who will take someones money and disappear or even some sort of identity fraud using an applicants details somewhere else.

Anyone receiving these should remember if it look to good to be true then it probably is. The shame of it is that anyone who actually follows through one of these scams does not come on the forum to expose them for what they are.

As for informing the public, this is a public forum with no formal connection to Canada immigration so really can only be by sharing postings such as this. You could of course forward the email to the genuine Samuel and Son company .
