Background: Got my Canadian PR by family sponsorship and I am also a PR in the USA.

I was wondering if I can still use my USA PR to travel back to the USA since I do intend to try to keep my US PR status and my Canadian at the same time.

my wife is a canadian citizen.i became a permenent resident of canada in 1987 but live in australia now.how can i get my PR card which i dont have with me.

You would need to wait until you return to Canada and then apply to obtain a PR card. You cannot obtain a PR card from outside of Canada.

Canadian PR is much easier to keep than US green card. For Canadian PR, all you need to do is maintain your residency obligation by spending at least 2 of every 5 years in Canada.

For certain kinds of US green cards, there are recommended residency terms to follow but really US border security can simply revoke some green cards if they feel you are no longer living in the US.
