He didn't sayGreat!
Inland or outland?
Actually he said DM on Aug 5th.
In other forum, I saw a guy got DM/PPR recently, he is a inland Master stream PNP applicant who applied to CIC in Aug 2015

I really don't know my friend. I think BG check stage is the thing my immigration consultant referered to. At BG stage, the way how the queue is ordered is based on the time stamp in the system. I won't call CIC anymore to play safe.I have been calling so many times, yet my security check started on the second week of January like other applicants with the same timeline. If they do that then a file may never get to its last stage as new applications being added to the system.
Oh, I see. Mine is IP2 for 7 months too.For IP2 I was talking the status shown on MyCIC webpage.
For off rev, I think it's a status code on AITP note or their internal system.
Two concepts.
You can search IP2 within this forum and check if yours online status is IP2?
many people got DM right after their online status being changed to IP2 ( in many cases, one day after)
but mine has been changed to IP2 for more than 7 months already
I think IP2 is for Express entry not for paper based PR application.Oh, I see. Mine is IP2 for 7 months too.
It is the status in myCIC account, for the Background check turned into In progress ( we call it IP1) then not applicable, then In progress again--this is called IP2.I think IP2 is for Express entry not for paper based PR application.
I never seen this IP2 in my GCMS notes and I applied paper based PR application.
its means my IP2 is going to complete one year in september. It is the status in myCIC account, for the Background check turned into In progress ( we call it IP1) then not applicable, then In progress again--this is called IP2.
Any update? I think maybe you are close to DM.
Congrates! Please let us know your good news once you get it!its means my IP2 is going to complete one year in september.
No update yet, my wife re-medical submitted and its showing on CIC that medical has been passed.
As long as you don't leave the country I think med exam will be extended by them.My RCMP no criminal certificate is 16 months old,
My medical exam is 12 months old today.
Although above two certificates are already accepted by CIC and showed passed on AITP note.
Will there be any issues if they get expired ?
Oh, I left Canada like 10 times every year.As long as you don't leave the country I think med exam will be extended by them.
I dont think that it is a reason for delaying of your application, I think they put security check randomly because I tried to find out a common point for security check but I dont think that it is due high number of visits or adding dependent or have a long travel history. My current job requires me to travel very frequently oversea.
I have been wondering if high frequency leaving/entering Canada is the root cause of my case delay.
Excellent analysis. I am from Asia.I dont think that it is a reason for delaying of your application, I think they put security check randomly because I tried to find out a common point for security check but I dont think that it is due high number of visits or adding dependent or have a long travel history.
But the only point I observe that security check is mostly on people who belongs to Asian countries like Iran, Pakistan , China ,India etc
Also for re-medical it is not necessary if you leave country so they will ask you for re-medical, actually it depends on case officer.
In my case and my friend case , we exit Canada multiple times but they didn't ask for re-medical but they ask for our spouse because they are not in Canada.
So Hope for good may be your case officer extend your medical.
I think no one can help us if file is in security check only prayers and rest how much we escalate this issue on media, news paper, social media (twitter etc).
